Digitals (also called polaroids) are simple, unretouched photos that show exactly how you look today: minimal makeup, fitted plain clothes, clean light, front, profile, and full length. Portfolio photos are styled images that show range and personality. Agencies usually ask for digitals first.
Fitted basics in solid colors, like a black or neutral tank and fitted jeans, clean shoes or heels, and two or three outfits for styled looks. Come with clean skin and simple hair. We keep makeup minimal for digitals and can build more styling into the portfolio looks.
Digitals stay unretouched, because agencies need to see the real you. The 3 edited photos get natural, hand-done retouching: we clean up temporary blemishes and stray hairs and keep your features exactly as they are.
Both. The studio gives clean, controlled light that is ideal for digitals, while a location in Los Angeles or Orange County adds atmosphere for editorial and lifestyle looks. Many models do digitals in the studio and a styled look outside.
You get the batch of usable unedited photos in a private online gallery, pick your favorites, and we deliver your 3 edited photos within a few business days, sized for agency submissions, comp cards, and social.
